Chocolate is a wild, extremely shy dog. He was spotted from a distance with half a leg. Catching him was a big challenge in itself. But not only that, looking after such a shy dog is not without its pitfalls. Before we could operate, his poor blood values had to recover. Fortunately, Dr. Kwnachai from Pattaya, who has good boxes and also performed the leg amputation, helped us here. He then came to the Help Point for a few more weeks until we could be sure that everything had healed well.
Now we can release Chocolate back into his familiar surroundings in the hope that he will get on well with his three legs. We are sure that this is the right decision, because he had a hard time with confinement, people and being locked up.
