Mankun was a street dog in Salak Peth. He was fed there daily by our Mo. When he was shot one day and she found him, it was a great shock. She immediately rushed him to the vet. Dr. Tookta x-rayed the upper leg and all the bones were shattered. She was unable to operate. We then took the poor dog to Pattaya where Dr. Kwanchai operated on him. It was a very complex operation. But as Mankun was still young, we were hopeful. He is a very, very sweet dog. The operation was successful and he was able to move his leg again. Six months later, he was able to walk again almost without limping. And today, over a year later, he is walking as if nothing had happened. He no longer limps.

As he is such a lovely and still young dog, we thought it would be a shame to leave him in the rescue center for old dogs forever. So he was allowed to travel to Switzerland and live there in a home of his own. We are very happy for the very dear Mankun.

After a year now our Founder Mo and Dr. Tookta went to visit Mankun in Switzerland. It was such a nice day. Mankun has the best life you can wish with amazing owners. Mo was very happy to see her former protegee like this. She fed him on the street since he was a puppy. And to see him now like this, loved and safe made her day. By the way he is not even limping anymore.
