I had the most wonderful time at Animal Welfare Koh Chang!
You work five days a week- the basic shift involves feeding stray dogs on a routine path on the island. On some days, we’d also rescue animals in distress or drop off/pick up animals from the vet’s. The team are welcoming, patient and really fun to work with.
The accommodation is very comfortable- you’d have your own bedroom and bathroom, a shared kitchen and access to a motorbike. There are five friendly dogs at the accommodation which makes it even more special.
This opportunity exceeded my expectations, I hope to return one day ❤️

Beautiful dogs, people and island!
I was apprehensive about the “work” but enjoyed every day of it.

They provide an incredible service. The day can vary sightly; sometimes there’s a dog abandoned or in distress, so we need to take them to the vet. Otherwise there’s a daily routine that lasts about 2 hours (most of that time is in the truck).

The team have a great sense of humour. It was important to be alert when required, but most of the time they’re very playful.

The house (with 5 friendly dogs) was so comfortable and having a motorbike was handy. Tip: go to Blue Haven for beach/sunset.
